Fukushima West Road

General National Route 13, or Fukushima West Road, is designed to ease traffic congestion as a new axis of the city of Fukushima, thereby helping the region build up a community full of vitality.

When it is completed, it will be equipped with a function of disaster prevention: it not only alleviates traffic congestion or reduces driving time, but also provides an emergency escape or shelter.
