Zero Accident Plan

The MLIT has been exploring a variety of approaches to ensure a safe accident-free infrastructure of the society. While we scientifically analyze the effect, we use more efficient, effective and transparent approach for preventing traffic accident within a limited budget.

When it comes to the traffic accidents in the main national routes in Fukushima Prefecture, we will elucidate potentially high-risk areas by designating them as “traffic-accident danger sections”, prioritize them for action, and implement the effective method suitable for the specific cause of the accident. Implementation will follow the management cycle, and the information will be made available to public in compliance of our disclosure policy. Your feedback will be taken into account to continuously improve our approach.
